Aug 5, 2020 · 8888 Discussion starter · Aug 5, 2020. The blade belt disintegrated on my 345's 48" deck while mowing and left me little to go by on how it should be routed. I learned when the 185 crapped the hydrostatic belt that there can be many ways to route a belt but only one is the correct way so I should ask if I can't find a definite answer on the web.
Take the new blade of the mower and place it into the spindle shaft of the mower. Replace the washer and center nut into their previous position. Block the blade with the wooden piece and use the socket wrench to tighten the nut by rotating it clockwise.
